Cyprus University of Technology in the Animal Task Force
We possess expertise and long experience in the fields of breeding, husbandry and nutrition in ruminants. We are particularly active in small ruminant research on nutrition, phylogenetic and gene expression analysis, and the improvement of dairy products quality (milk, cheese and meat), by enriching them with molecules for a human health point of view (functional foods). The unique environment of the southernmost European country, being an island and having a strong dairy sector offers a unique partner for investigating new research and policies alike, for the improvement of the environment and the sustainability of the dairy sector in Europe.
