ECIP in the Animal Task Force
In the years ahead, the dairy sector faces significant common challenges:
Long-term economic viability
The drive towards carbon neutrality
Intensifying consumer scrutiny of the value of animal products
Human health and nutrition
Animal Health and Welfare
Environmental impact and maintenance of biodiversity
Resilience in the supply chain
Professionalism and quality of life for current, and succeeding, generations of dairy farmers
ECIP membership of ATF is to help give voice to grassroot farmer research, development and knowledge exchange needs from pan-European and apolitical perspectives, and to provide additional connectivity for the ATF outputs.
