About ATF@BE
ATF@BE is a consortium of research laboratories and experimental centers with research activities in animal production, including animal nutrition, animal health, genetics, animal feed production, offering complementary expertise in animal science. The ATF@BE partners represent the Belgian expertise, Flemish and Walloon Universities, regional and governmental research institutes and experimental farms are part of this consortium.

The consortium offers expertise and facilities for research on crop production and animal breeding, pilot lab facilities for animal feed development and research, analytical labs (chemical, microbial, molecular, physical), facilities for feed evaluation and to study animal metabolism, digestion and performances.

The aims of the ATF@BE consortium are to offer added value to the animal production industry through complementary expertise and to enhance the dissemination of project results and other scientific information to the animal production sector.

ATF@BE in the Animal Task Force
ATF@BE represents the Belgian Animal Husbandry knowledge institutes in the ATF. ATF@BE members collaborate intensively with national and international companies in numerous regional, national and European scientific projects. There is a cooperation with Belgian farmer associations, feed (ingredient) producers, and slaughterhouses as well as with food processing industry, retail and authorities.
